One teaspoon provides our jewellers with enough ash to complete your chosen memorial jewellery safely and carefully. Only a very small amount is placed discreetly inside the jewellery, so there is no need to send a large quantity or the full urn.

The exact amount used can depend on the design and the size of its internal ashes compartment. Any ashes that are not required remain securely inside your tin.

Your Ashes to Gold Collection Kit

Once you are ready to begin, we provide a collection kit containing a small tin for the ashes and instructions explaining what to do next.

Simply place approximately one teaspoon of ashes into the supplied tin and follow the return instructions provided with your kit. Sending a small, clearly contained amount helps make the process more manageable during what can understandably be an emotional time.

What Happens to the Ashes?

Your loved one’s ashes are treated with care and respect throughout the entire process. A small amount is placed within a discreet compartment inside your chosen ring or pendant before the piece is securely completed by our experienced jewellers.

Are Unused Ashes Returned?

Yes. Any ashes remaining after your jewellery has been completed are returned to you securely alongside your finished piece.
